Born in Michigan and raised in a conservative Christian family, Stephanie followed her intellectual curiosity and spiritual longings first to Wheaton College (IL) and then to Princeton Theological Seminar before earning her doctorate from Harvard Divinity School. Ordained as a Unitarian Universalist minister in 2014, she currently serves as Minister of First Church Boston.
